"The Christmas Story" - 12/23/15
On the 23rd, we went on an awesome Christmas outing downtown. We had
lunch on Larimer Square, hot chocolate at 'The Market', went ice
skating, and best of all, we went to see 'The Christmas Story' Musical!
We all loved the show and had a great day out celebrating the holidays!

The Nutcracker Ballet - 12/21/15
This afternoon, I took Harrison and Declan to see 'The Nutcracker' at the Performing Arts Center in downtown Denver. It was Declan's first time seeing the ballet and Harrison's second. We all enjoyed it and had a very festive time. Happy Holidays!!

Ice Skating at Skyline Park - 12/8/2015
Last night was our 2nd annual holiday outing in downtown Denver with ice skating, dinner and the German Christmas Market. Harrison and Declan absolutely loved ice skating (and the sugared pretzels at the Christmas Market) and we all had lots of fun!
I managed to capture this video of Declan showing off on his ice skates without falling down myself:

Happy Birthday, Harrison!!! 11/21/15
Harrison is SEVEN!!!
We celebrated his birthday with an 'Out of this World' birthday party, complete with a mission to Mars, rocket fuel, and a rocket launch! He and his friends had a 'BLAST'!!
Happy Birthday, Harrison!
I made Harrison a rocket ship cupcake cake blasting off into the stars.
He insisted on wearing his astronaut suit for the party.
'Rocket Fuel' kept everyone going through the entire party.
Every child got an 'official' astronaut identification card and lanyard.
Declan definitely got into the party theme, also!
The party presenter made his first appearance in an astronaut suit with dramatic music.
Our 'Mission to Mars' included lots of information about the red planet and some questions that paid out correct answers with space money.
Declan answered several questions correctly and won some 'space money'!
Harrison got to wear these special boots which simulated what it might feel like to walk on Mars.
The kids also got to make a 'Mars lander'.
The grand finale, was a rocket launch!
Time for birthday wishes and cupcakes!
HAPPY 7TH BIRTHDAY, HARRISON!!
I hope your wish comes true. We love you!!
