Finally Done!!! 4/24/13

 Our main floor remodeling project is finally done and we love it!!! The painter finished at 3pm this afternoon and we moved back in. 

Now it's time for a fun vacation!

 The half-wall is gone and a new ceiling beam helps create room division. Also, you can see the new floors, baseboards, and chandelier.

This picture shows the new stone installed on the fireplace and we had our existing carpet bound into an area rug, so we could get more use out of it.

Harrison's Horse Adventure! 4/13/13

Harrison got to ride a horse today! There was a kids' expo at the shopping mall with all kinds of free activities, including horseback riding.

Dr. Harrison, the Paleontologist - 4/7/13

Sunday was 'Member Appreciation Day' at the Science Museum, so Harrison, Declan, and I took advantage of the discounts! Harrison got to pretend to be a paleontologist discovering a Mastodon bone and then we went to the IMAX 3-D Ice Age movie!

Fun with Friends - 4/4/13

Last Thursday was such a pretty day, and Harrison had a great time playing with his preschool buddies, Grayson and Charlie, at Grayson's house. They will miss each other next fall. Grayson is going to kindergarten and Charlie is moving to the afternoon class.

Home Depot Kid's Workshop - 4/6/13

 I took Harrison and Declan to the Home Depot Kid's Workshop on Saturday morning and they each made a free birdhouse!! We had lots of fun!

 The birds at our house have pretty new houses!

Disney on Ice - 4/5/13

This morning, we went to see 'Disney on Ice - Treasure Trove'! What a fun family outing and the show included lots of favorite Disney characters, like Mickey and Minnie; plus it featured some of the most popular movies, like 'Lion King', 'Alice in Wonderland', 'Peter Pan', 'Snow White', 'Aladdin', and 'Tangled'. Of course, we had to take our picture with Mickey and Minnie Mouse!

 Popcorn!! Declan was adamant about trying the popcorn!!
