Thanksgiving Pre-K Pow Wow - 11/19/15

 Yesterday at Declan's Pre-K school, the kids invited their families and celebrated Thanksgiving with a Pow Wow! Each class sang a special song and then we all went on a 'bear hunt'! Declan was very proud of himself and did a great job. Check out the video below!

'The Lion King' - 11/5/15

We saw 'The Lion King' this afternoon!! It was truly amazing and mesmerizing. We all loved it!

 Harrison and Declan loved the giant 'Man' and 'Woman' statues outside the theatre.

 After the show, we stopped for dinner down the block at Sam's No.3, which was featured on 'Diners, Drive-ins and Dives' on The Food Network! Harrison and Declan loved the cute diner hats they could color and wear.

 

 Such a fun day!!

A New Outfit for "B" - 11/3/15

Yesterday, Declan insisted on picking up some supplies when we were at Michael's so he could make a t-shirt for his favorite stuffed pal! Today, he set to work decorating a shirt especially for "B".  He even made two necklaces to complete the new look!

Boo at the Zoo!! 10/25/15

Today, we spent the entire day trick-or-treating at 'Boo at the Zoo'! Harrison and Declan were in candy heaven and I think they found every single treat stop, plus some fun animal demonstrations, exhibits and a brand new baby zebra!

 A spooky area was set up for family photos, but Declan first had to confirm that the skeleton did not have a tongue and would not be talking to him!

 

There were several fun characters to meet and Spider Man was a big hit!

 Many of the animal enclosures were decorated for Halloween!

 Harrison and Declan got to pet an opossum. They said he was fluffy!

 This baby zebra was just born on October 8th!

Even the trees were spooky!

Halloween Kids' Cooking Class - 10/24/15

 Yesterday, I took Harrison and Declan to a Halloween cooking class and they had a blast! First, they got to make spooky orange popcorn balls filled with gummy worms and candy corn. Then, they learned how to make the white chocolate ghost pops in the picture (which they devoured!). And, the last item was a spider deviled egg...which mommy got to eat!

Photo Session Fun - 10/15/15

 Target had free photo sessions last week to train new employees, so we stopped by just for fun. 

 

 

Pumpkin Harvest Festival - 10/3/15

Last weekend, we welcomed autumn with our annual visit to the Pumpkin Harvest Festival at Four Mile Historic Park in Denver. We had a beautiful day to enjoy the pumpkin patch, a horse and carriage ride, apple cider doughnuts, stilt walking, caramel apples and stories from a real cowboy!
