Summer Safari Finale - 7/12/13

Yesterday was Harrison's last day of Zoo Camp. They got to ride the carousel, see a live animal show, and have ice cream! They also sang a song for the parents that they learned during the week. Unfortunately, all I had with me was my phone and it did not pick up the sound very well. But, you can still see them singing in the video below. He was a happy camper!

Summer Safari Zoo Camp - 7/8/13

Harrison started his week of Zoo Camp today! He is in the Pre-K 'Planet Patrol' group and said he had a lot of fun and made some new friends. They got to ride the train, do some craft projects, and look around the zoo today. They probably did other things as well, but he said he was too tired to tell me. Anyway, he is very excited about camp and should  have a great time!

Sunflower Photo Shoot - 7/5/13

I noticed there were some sunflowers starting to bloom in an open space near our house, so I thought it might be fun to test my photography skills with Harrison and Declan. They didn't last long, but I still got some cute shots.

Fourth of July in Winter Park - 7/4/13

 Harrison, Declan, and I had a fabulous time celebrating the Fourth of July at Winter Park Resort with Finn and his parents, Kris and Andy. It was a blast! They went on the kids' zip line, the alpine slide (this was the favorite!), jumpy house, climbing wall, chair lift to the mountain top, and the bungee trampoline. They also panned for gemstones! We didn't see any fireworks or have any hot dogs or ice cream, but we got to eat lunch on top of a mountain and enjoy the gorgeous alpine atmosphere.

 Harrison, Declan, and Finn each took a ride on the zip line!

 All the boys got to pan for gemstones and take home a bag full of gems.

 Harrison loved the chair lift! He got to ride it up to lunch on top of the mountain and several times to get to the top of the alpine slide.

 Declan acted like a clown the entire time we were waiting for Harrison and Finn to finish with the rock wall climbing.

 This guy was so funny...this is how he moved the little kids around!
